Condition:
Framed: The canvas is unlined. A wooden strip frame is adhered to the edges. Minor rubbing along the right edge, with one associated loss near the center. Under UV light: some original pigments fluoresce. Scattered strokes of inpainting along the upper register in the green pigments. One possible repaired tear with associated inpainting in the base of the central sculpture. Additional possible strokes of inpainting along the right and bottom right edge. One half inch possible repair in the yellow ground pigments to the left of the figures' shadows. In the dark orange pigments in the left hand side, there is pigment shrinkage only visible under UV light. This work is in overall very good condition. Framed: 31 5/8 by 37 1/2 in. (80.3 by 95.2 cm.)
